Forty-five and going strong!

I've been 45 for a whole day now, and I have to say, it's not bad at all.  I've never been one who's all caught up in what age people are, for me it's more how they act and feel.  And I feel pretty darn good right now, even though I did go visit my arthritis/fibromyalgia doc today LOL.  She gave me a lovely present--I don't have to go back for 6 months since my current medication has everything under control quite well.

I bought myself a birthday present today--a dock for my IPOD.  I am thoroughly enjoying both the IPOD and the dock.  I had no idea they were so much fun, or I'd have had one much, much sooner.  I have a very eclectic mix of music on it--everything from classical (I love Vivaldi) to bubblegum pop (Bobby Sherman or David Cassidy, anyone?) to rock (Aerosmith, The Who) to TV theme songs (take a guess as to which ones LOL).  If the mix is heavy in any one genre it'd be country, I like country music.  In fact, I just ordered tickets for a series of concerts that includes Tim McGraw, Brooks and Dunn (with Rodney Atkins as the warm up band), Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney (with LeeAnn Rimes), Rascal Flatts (with Taylor Swift), and...drum roll...Toby Keith (with Montgomery Gentry).

January, I'm glad that someone else likes Jonathan on Survivor.  He really shakes things up.  I have to say that after tonight, I'm worried about his ability to go all the way.  With Yau Man gone, that alliance is down to 3, and the other has 5.  If I'd been them, I'd have voted for Cirie, since she bailed on the alliance she made with them.  And I cannot believe she thinks she'll be any higher than 5th even if they go all the way, I think those couples will stick together.  And I totally agree--EW--get a room.  The fans really have quite a bit of drive and heart, to come back and win the immunity challenge after the night they had.  Unfortunately, they will continue to have a bad time unless they can bring that heart and drive to some of the reward challenges.  I don't have a favorite over there, but I don't care for the firefighter or Mikey, or the beer cart lady or Chet...hmm....is there anyone left?

Usually I try to stay out of the squabbling that goes on between various Bonanza sites. I'm very involved with Bonanza World, and although I belong to some other sites, I don't post much on any of them.  I checked out January's new site (check out her journal for the link), and it's coming along quite nicely.  I have to laugh at someone whining that January copied their site when that same group copied BW when they started a Bonanza site!

We are getting snow and ice tonight (actually I think the snow is done and it's mainly freezing rain now).  Jon plowed snow all evening.  School is already cancelled for tomorrow--that's the second day this week the kids have gotten a snow day, the first one was my birthday.  Hope it clears up a little, we're supposed to go tubing this weekend.
