Ah, the crack of the bat...music to my ears!

Monday night, Chris had his first baseball game of the season, in a pre-season tournament.  I've decided that 33 F is really just a little chilly for baseball.  Chilly or not, they won 11-10, so it was all worthwhile!

I bought myself a skin for my iPod, and I love it!  I justified it to hubby--we're trying to save some money--by pointing out that the iPod was expensive enough that it didn't make sense not to protect it if I could.  But honestly, I just wanted it, and so I bought it.

My kids have discovered Wierd Al Yankovich--and can't believe that I knew who he was.  They were also stunned to find out that I actually knew some of the songs his earlier parodies were based on--they had very little idea of who Madonna was (as a singer). They know who Michael Jackson is, but were intrigued by the idea that he was actually serious singer at one point.  Guess I'll have to add some tracks from Thriller to my iPod so they can hear them.
