the ramblings of a married mother of two with a serious passion for TV cowboys.
Hi! Just blogging by! Feel free to visit anytime!
Happy Birthday, Deb!
It's great that you've started your own journal!
I've been doing a little blog-hopping this evening, trying to catch up on my friends journals.
Jeanie had a link to the croc site and the winter crocs she's going to do get, and Katie and I really liked them, too. We may try to get some too.
I spent part of the week in a little mini-funk started by my mother. She's moving next week, and doing things she shouldn't be, so she's having some intermittent problems with her respirtatory ststus. Anyway, she had this box of stuff out that she was going to send to my neice. When she opened it up, right on top was my brother Herb's old teddy bear. I remember he absolutely loved that bear, ti went everywhere with him. He used it to bean mom in the head and wake her up when he had his tonsils out. He slept with it, and it played 'football' with all the other action figures, sometimes doubling as THE football. This bear is now totally threadbare, and the blue parts look nearly tan. But when I saw the bear, I instantly remembered Herb as a youngster and I had to take it out and hug it and take a few pictures of it. RIP Herb.
I forget who's blog is was, but there were people addicted to Tetris. Add me to the list, I downloaded it to my phone so I can play any time. It's totally addictive, but my latest obsession is Spider Solitaire on the hardest setting. I win about once every 100 games.
WE got new cell phones last week (finally!). I love my new one, and I'm still playing with the various features. Remember the movie "The Jerk", when Steve Martin's character was really excited because "The new phone books are here!" That's exactly the way I feel aout the new cell phones.
